Week part 9

We have finally made it to the weekend. Happy 4th of July. We started off with our drive home from Indy. Got back into town and headed out to christies to pick up baby "D". Came home and unloaded everyone and everything. Got mostly unpacked. Jeffs parents asked us to come up to the camp ground they were staying at for dinner. So we got everyone all ready to go, loaded up chairs and blankets for fireworks. The kids got to make their own hotdogsand just had fun playing outside. It started to sprinkle a little but that wasn't going to stop us from seeing fireworks. We waited and the rain finally stopped and the fireworks began. Leland and Katie were scared at first but then started to enjoy them. Kelsey, Chandler, Owen, and Elliot liked the fireworks. Baby "D" loved them. I have never seen that child sit so still.

Week part 8

The Childrens Museum in Indianapolis. Everyone had such a great time. I think the favorite part for everyone was the dinosaurs.

Week part 7

OK I have have a ton of pictures so this post will just be swimming pictures. Everyone went swimming except for Kelsey. Chandler, Owen, and Elliot liked both the pool and hot tub. Leland liked the pool. Aunt Janice brought the 2 little ones swimmies for their arms. Leland loved them, "K" on the other hand didn't. Which surprised me as she is the go getter of the 2. "K" liked the hot tub better then the pool.

Week part 6

On Thursday July 2 we loaded up the family and headed down to Indy for a few days. The drive was nice, not really any fighting took place, which is rare for our family. Usually at least 1 of the kids act up. We arrived at the hotel and went swimming. Jeffs sister Janice, and brother inlaw Paul and their kids came over to the hotel and went swimming as well. It was nice to see them and be able to visit. The little ones loved taking walks through the hotel. The hotel has a big african bird that talks so we spent alot of time talking to Sweetie. Everyone slept well. I wasn't sure how "K" would do being in a new environment but she did very well. We left baby "D" home as he wouldn't have enjoyed it all that much and we didn't have enough room in the truck. But here are some pictures from the hotel.
